About Us

Nepalese in Photography (NIP) was established in 2009 as a grassroots platform dedicated to connecting photographers and fostering creative exchange. Over the years, it has grown into one of Nepal's largest photography communities, bringing together more than 293,800 members on Facebook. Since its inception, NIP has organized national photography competitions and thematic contests, providing photographers with opportunities for visibility, recognition, and creative engagement through accessible platforms, often operating with limited sponsorship support. Building upon this strong foundation, Photo Venture Nepal (PVN) represents the next phase in the development of Nepal's photographic ecosystem, transitioning from informal community engagement to structured creative growth and professional development.
